Firefox 1.5 bug?

I haven’t investigate deeply about this problem, but I try to explain..

I have fresh windows XP installed on my computer, the next thing I installed of course the lattest firefox 1.5 and then flashplayer.
Then set the connections to the proxy.
The problem then come….
Since I use proxy with password, usually I always save the proxy password, but in ff1.5 even I already tick the save password, it always pop up to ask the password. &%#&@$&

I reinstall ff1.5 again, the same problem appear. I had enough!!!, I uninstall the ff and install the old ff1.0.6 to my computer.
What do u know??? the problem never occure again 🙂

Is this a bug?

  2. I have the same problem. It remembers the proxy password but it still asks it before loading almost every picture on the web. Just have to press enter million times a day. I’m using 1.5.0.1. Also fresh install of XP SP2. Also reinstalled FireFox. WTF?
